We must continue to increase reliance on clean and renewable energy, finding new and innovative ways to produce power; to be a self sufficient but also a sustainable energy provider. Like other political parties looking at nationalisation of utilities, we too will be looking at steps towards this, and will take steps for mutual co-operation; cross party support, to achieve this. 

POLICY AND PROPOSAL

We need to embrace new technologies that change the world for the better. Renewable energy is good but sustainable energy is better. As technology gets closer to making fusion power a reality through joint projects around the world, we’d like to see nuclear power being phased out through 2040-2050, with output completely replaced by sustainable and renewable energy, and gradually supported by fusion, to help with increased demand as technology grows with the times.
